Our 4 Part Approach
3 schools receive 4 presentations, 1 per month on endurance, perseverance, and education concluded with our table in the wilderness day retreat where the presenters return and discuss the impact of the program.
A typical presentation starts with a greeting by Joe and the introduction of the guest speaker and their topic.
The first presentation briefly goes over all the stated goals of this program and then concentrates on the subject of endurance and how that has helped the presenter succeed.
The next presentations will then speak specifically on the subjects of perseverance and then education and how that has helped the speakers achieve their goals.
The last presentation is our table in the wilderness.
This is a one day retreat where the students participate in all kinds of activities
The students also have time to share a meal and fellowship.
And the retreats end with a another meeting with program participants and a roundtable discussion of the goals of the program.
Each presentation ends with a question and answer session encouraging student participation to give the students a sense of ownership of the topics.
